End of year high points championships will be based on the best 7 of events with NASA AZ and PROAUTOSPORTS scheduled events.

Event Finishes for Series points are scored as followed:

1st - 40 points, 2nd - 37 points, 3rd - 35 points,  4th - 33 points,  5th - 31 points
6th - 30 points, 7th - 29 points..... and so on down scale.

One (1) additional point will be awarded to any racer that attends both days of each scheduled event.

Ten (10) points will be awarded for any racer that brings a car to the event but cannot start a session or does not get a time.  (See below)

Event results and points will be posted on the web page the week following each event.  An awards presentation will be held other ACR events from time to time at the track or ACR social events.

2. Rules and Classing:

This series is open to all ACR members and is only for enjoyment. You must have successfully completed an approved driving school. All members are subject to the rules and regulations of the sanctioning body and may be required to run in lower class groupings until an authorized instructor approves you to run in the Time Trial group. You will be on the track with other cars at speed.

THIS IS A TIME TRIALS SERIES AND NOT A RACING VENUE. IF YOU CANNOT REMEMBER THAT AND DRIVE IN AN UNSAFE MANNER, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SERIES WITH NO REFUND - NO EXCEPTIONS! WE TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY. ARIZONA CORVETTE RACERS OFFICIALS MAY REFUSE ENTRY INTO THE ACR SERIES AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY REASON. IF YOU ARE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SERIES, YOU WILL NEED TO LEAVE WITHOUT APPEAL. ALL PARTICIPATES AGREE ACR, AND ANY OF ITS MEMBERS, ARE NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROPERTY OR INJURY OR DEATH AND PARTICIPATES AGREE ACR CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE AT THE TRACK OR ANY ACR EVENT.

All ACR events will follow the Rules and Regulations established by the track and sanctioning body.

3. General rules that apply to all classes:

Any safety gear or equipment is allowed and encouraged in any class and will not change the class the car participates in.

All cars entered must pass the appropriate safety tech inspection required by the sanctioning body.

For clarification, ‘No Significant Weight Reduction’ in the Stock and Modified classes means that you can replace any item on the car with a lighter one but you cannot delete any component or system.

You must compete in your own car. Borrowing someone else’s car to score points is not allowed.

The ACR series membership and registration fee (one time fee per year) is $50.00 payable at the first event. This fee includes an ACR club shirt and decal.

AMB Transponders are required for Time Trial Events. You should either purchase or rent a transponder to run this series. Transponders are available at track registration from the event organizers. However, ACR Staff may accept timing results from IR timing equipment or personal GPS based systems for those running in other groups.

For ACR members running in a “Race Group” event, official qualifying/race times will be accepted for participating this series.

ACR may limit the number of  entrants in the series.

If a driver does not enter the Series, he or she will not be eligible for Series awards. Drivers must participate in at least 50% of the ACR events to be eligible for Series Awards.

The best 8 events for each driver will be scored for Series trophies. TIEBREAKER: Tied racers will be ranked by the best head to head record between the tied racers.

Series points are scored as followed:
1st - 40 points, 2nd - 37 points, 3rd - 35 points,  4th - 33 points,  5th - 31 points

6th - 30 points, 7th - 29 points..... and so on down scale.

If only one participant is entered in a class, he will receive recognition for 1st place but will be awarded 15 points rather than full points.  You must record an official lap time, not just show up, to win the full points.

If you arrive at the track and make an attempt to run but for some understandable reason (deemed understandable by the ACR Staff) you cannot make your timed runs, you will receive 10 points for that event.

Points accrued will stay with the class. If drivers must move to another Class, drivers will only be able to move 10 points with you. For participation drivers will be recognized for their attendance in any class.

A Series Awards Presentation gathering will be scheduled at the following scheduled ACR points event and you will all be notified in advance on the ACR web page.

All disputes or questions will be handled by the ACR staff.  Contact them for resolution of problems or questions. ACR decisions are final.

Arizona Corvette Racers is a scoring and classing organization only.  It does not sanction or sponsor any event. It is the responsibility of each racer to obtain his best lap time and present it to the ACR staff for scoring.
